FG Assures N-Power Beneficiaries of Payment as Programme Undergoes Review
(npower stipend) The federal government assures N-Power beneficiaries of outstanding stipend payments as the program undergoes review. Verified beneficiaries will be paid soon.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has assured N-Power beneficiaries that all outstanding stipends will be paid, despite the ongoing comprehensive review of the program.
This assurance was given by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, just hours before a planned nationwide protest by N-Power beneficiaries scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 2026.
According to the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Bernard M. Doro, all verified and eligible N-Power beneficiaries who are owed payments will receive their stipends. He explained that the ministry is currently working with the National Social Investment Programs Agency (NSIPA) to review the program and fix structural and operational challenges affecting its delivery.
In an official statement released on Monday, Dr. Doro acknowledged the frustrations of beneficiaries, stating that the federal government is fully aware of their concerns. He emphasized that efforts are ongoing to resolve payment delays and improve the overall effectiveness of the scheme.
The minister further disclosed that he met directly with representatives of N-Power beneficiaries to discuss the outstanding issues. According to him, beneficiaries with verified payment issues will be settled once the review process is concluded.

Beneficiaries have been advised to ensure their details remain accurate and verified, as final arrangements are currently being concluded for the disbursement of outstanding stipends nationwide.
