The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially announced Monday, March 9, 2026, as the start date for YEIDEP Batch B registration, a major youth empowerment initiative aimed at supporting up to 20 million Nigerian youths with financial and entrepreneurial assistance.
The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (YEIDEP) is designed to provide start-up capital, training, and sustainable economic opportunities for eligible Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 50 years.
Young Nigerians interested in participating in the programme can begin the YEIDEP Batch B registration process starting today through designated partner banks nationwide.
YEIDEP Batch B Registration Begins March 9
According to a statement released by the Director-General of YEIDEP, the YEIDEP Batch B registration will officially commence on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Unlike Batch A, which was conducted mainly through an online registration portal, Batch B requires physical participation through designated banks.
Applicants must visit an approved partner bank to open a YEIDEP bank account, which is the official requirement for completing the YEIDEP Batch B application process.
The YEIDEP authority also emphasized that:
- Opening a YEIDEP account is the only valid way to register
- The registration process is completely FREE
- No applicant should pay any bank official or intermediary
Anyone requesting payment should be reported immediately.

- Zenith Bank
- Access Bank
- United Bank for Africa (UBA)
- Ecobank
- Lotus Bank
Eligible applicants can visit any of these banks nationwide to complete their registration.
Who is Eligible for YEIDEP Batch B?
To apply for YEIDEP Batch B recruitment, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be between 18 and 50 years old
- Be interested in entrepreneurship or business development
- Open a YEIDEP bank account with a partner bank
Important Eligibility Update
The programme clarified that:
- Individuals who successfully registered in Batch A and already have confirmed YEIDEP bank accounts cannot apply again
- Applicants who registered in Batch A but did not receive confirmed accounts may reapply in Batch B
Multiple registrations are strictly prohibited.
Anyone found attempting duplicate applications will be automatically disqualified.
